I am a music teacher that provides a relational and fun experience in order to inspire my students to take their musical ability to the next level.  I offer private local lessons in my music studio as well as online lessons via zoom.  

As a kid, I took guitar lessons for 5 years from the same teacher.  This taught me that consistency and a good relationship with the same teacher for a long time is extremely valuable and the best way to get better as a musician.  In high school I excelled as a guitar player in jazz band winning awards for competitions we would take place in.  

After graduating high school I joined a band.  We quickly gained a significant fan base in Minnesota.  I immediately started gaining experience with recording albums and touring.  By the end of our 3 year career, we recorded 3 albums and toured all over the country.  

After leaving the band, I began writing, singing, and producing my own songs.  I started a solo project and released 2 albums, 3 singles, and went on 5 national tours.  

In 2015, I started singing and playing guitar at Eagle Brook Church.  By 2018, I accepted a staff position where I currently serve on the music development team.  On this team I am responsible for new musician auditions, giving guitar lessons for players who need further development, and creating tutorial curriculums and videos for the music teams at large.  I also either sing or player guitar every weekend and Wednesday night at campuses.  Eagle Brook Church also writes their own original music where I help write, produce, and play guitar on occasional tours.  

Throughout my music career I have taught piano and guitar lessons privately as well as at various music schools.  I’ve developed my curriculum and communication style that I believe is extremely helpful for students of all ages to learn music in the best way possible.  

For young students or people who have never even picked up an instrument, I offer a great beginner program on either guitar or piano.  

For students(child or adult) who already have some skill on guitar, I love to evaluate and learn about their goals on the instrument.  I excel at taking skills to the next level, lessons on guitar tone/amps/pedals, and practice regimens to keep their playing sharp.  

In my private studio we have the ability to record which is another great skill for guitar players to learn! 

My teaching practice is a legitimate LLC business.  With me you will be taken care of as you would at any music studio.
